We are looking for candidates who want to shape and drive innovation at Bosch.Job DescriptionAs an Associate Process Engineer specialized in the semiconductor industry, your role is pivotal in developing and optimizing semiconductor manufacturing processes to meet the stringent requirements of this rapidly evolving and highly competitive sector. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of semiconductor fabrication processes and drive innovation in semiconductor manufacturing technology.You will be responsible for the following:Assist in the design, development, and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes, such as photolithography, etching, deposition, and ion implantation.Stay updated on the latest advancements in semiconductor process technologies and integrate them into your work.Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams to select, install, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing equipment.Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained to meet high precision and performance standards.Analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for yield improvement and defect reduction.Develop and implement process enhancements to enhance semiconductor quality and efficiency.Work on advanced materials and integration processes, such as compound semiconductors or new materials for next-generation technology nodes.Collaborate with materials scientists and researchers to develop cutting-edge solutions.Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.Ensure compliance with semiconductor industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.Monitor changes in industry regulations and adjust processes accordingly.Collect and analyze data to evaluate process performance and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications Basic QualificationsBS Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Material Engineering, or Physics or the equivalent in education.1 years of work experience in Semiconductor Process EngineeringExperience with industry-specific standards, including ISO, SEMI, and ESD.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in semiconductor process simulation software.Strong communications skills with various audiences from vendors to fellow engineers to operators.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and project management skills.Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsTravel (including internationally) as needed.Additional InformationThis role will work on site in Roseville, CA.This position works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
